GPS location is used only for providing ride matching, navigation, and nearby transportation services. Your location is not continuously shared after the ride request is completed unless required by an active feature you enable.
Sakay Nata applies reasonable administrative, organizational, physical, and technical security measures to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
We process personal information in accordance with the Republic Act No. 10173, also known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).
Driver's license numbers and vehicle plate numbers are collected during registration for driver verification, accountability, and traceability purposes only. This information is reviewed internally by Sakay Nata administrators before a driver account is verified, and is never shared with passengers or other users. Passengers only ever see a "Verified" badge and a partial (masked) plate number once a driver has been verified.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information may only be shared with authorized service providers, government authorities when legally required, or as necessary to provide transportation-related services.
Subject to applicable Philippine laws, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account, unless retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes.
